Urbegi is a group of 12 companies diversified in four service areas. Dedicated to providing service and socially committed, and with a business model based on ethics, values and involvement with the different environments where it operates, the group promotes innovation systems and improved competitiveness in the areas of integral, industrial, environmental and technological services.
The company is currently undergoing a process of restructuring its business model to make Urbegi an international brand. It wants to rethink the way it relates to its environment, not only remodelling the way it creates networks, but also rethinking its own message.
Ania Bas is a Polish artist living in London who conducts research into connections between people and places and develops her practice in real scenarios.
To test the limits of design: what can be achieved by devising and producing a plan? Does design always have to have a clear application? Sources of original thought and ways to implement them in the project will be sought.
The collaboration between the Urbegi Group/Tenzing Centre and artist Ania Bas looked into creating a visual language that would illustrate key concepts underpinning the company’s philosophy and present the Tenzing ethos. A series of illustrations was developed with the involvement of Christina Christoforou, a London based illustrator and artist.
