Creative Pills EkintzaLab 2012

Urgarbi develops technologies and services for surface waters.

To develop creative processes within the organisation and seek new mechanisms of interaction with the environment.

Mobiolak is a group of professionals working in the creation and production of artistic, cultural and social projects. Mobiolak is interested in social innovation processes that can create connections between groups of people, and it does this by using artistic techniques, especially  theatre and visual arts.

To share its working methodology with the company, departing from desk work and activating more imaginative and creative processes based on physical action and play.

After the first informal meeting with Urgarbi and after investigating the characteristics of the company and other similar companies, Mobiolak decided to propose some creative work to help develop the area of environmental awareness that Urgarbi potentially presents.

The aim for the first session was defined as decoding the company’s usual technical language to convert it into comprehensible visual ideas and terms that could be understood by any child or adult without prior technical knowledge.

Theatre games were proposed to develop the expressive abilities of the two Urgarbi members by making use of drawing and writing. Following the same methodology in the second session, the idea was to devise various specific actions that could serve to enhance the company’s capacity for social-environmental awareness.
