Llars de l'amistat Cheshire Non-profit Foundation whose purpose is to encourage people affected by major physical disabilities who cannot stay in their home environment, to meet their life expectancy.
Cerebral palsy is a disability little known (compared to other disabilities). The Foundation need the help of an artist to imagine and create tools / devices to publicize, beyond the disabilities that are obvious, the capabilities of people who have it. Llar Oxalis is not looking for new residents, but wanting to communicate to a wide audience and with a simple tool, the reality of this specific disability and the work done at the Foundation.
Itxaso Diaz. She works in the ideation, design and production of participatory projects with audiovisual support through documentaries and micro-videos that contain the shared memory of territories, communities, groups and individuals.
Artist Training: Rita Andreu
Itxaso Diaz proposes to design a participatory audiovisual record of everyday life, of the challenges and capabilities of the people involved in the daily work of the organisation: employees, residents, family... Trying to address the emotions and illusions to improve visibility and communication of their realities.
