Creative Pills TenerifeLab 2016
ORGANISATION
La Ranilla Espacio Artesano, a space dedicated to the innovative craft sector.
CHALLENGE
To rethink the products and services that are offered by La Ranilla.
IMPROBABLE COLLABORATOR
Albert Soler is restless and curious. He observes and explores. He ponders things and moves them around. He thinks, rethinks and thinks again, and ideas emerge from this cyclical process that can create new opportunities and positive experiences for companies, organisations and individuals. He creates and develops projects that unite communication, culture and education, and always from a theatrical viewpoint.
RESULT
The process carried out with La Ranilla Espacio Artesano/Espacio Cultural began with an initial mapping to learn about its two premises and all its activities. The mapping identified both its (physical) spaces and the two conceptual cornerstones that define La Ranilla’s identity (crafts and art-culture). It also helped to identify that each of these two spaces/concepts were not watertight and that in many cases the boundaries between one and the other were difficult to define.
This observation led to a strategic consideration aimed at finding a more open umbrella concept that could accommodate the diversity of activities and disciplines at La Ranilla.
The consideration was also accompanied by a detailed analysis of each of its activities, with the aim of providing reasons to be able to prioritise and plan the following steps to take. Opportunities for new products and services were also detected during this exercise.
